Day After / Obama’ perspective

This video starts at the 9:45 mark, take a minute to fast forward to that mark and listen to President Obama’s take on the election results:

I just thought I’d post it….

I don’t agree with our President on several key issues, but I respect him nonetheless.

The United States is the largest economy in the world, and we have had continuous leadership since George Washington was elected in 1787.

Four of our leaders have been assassinated (Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley and Kennedy) and yet there still has been a legal transition to the next leader.

The show must go on, the Ship of State must continue to sail.

If Trump does an awful job someone else will be elected in 2020, if he does a great job it might shake up the establishment and actually change some things for the better. We might even get a pared-down and more efficient government.

The US economy might see a big surge in growth.

It would be awesome if the federal debt went down.

Perhaps Trump is our first Chief Entrepreneur, the first in a long line of business leaders who will lead our country out of the old paradigms of the Industrial Age and help usher the United States economy into the Conceptual Age.

Only time will tell,

Benjamin T. Alexander
